Bogdan Ogrodnik

Bogdan Ogrodnik, PhD is a philosopher and educator whose work bridges philosophy of nature, metaphysics, and educational theory. Trained originally as a physicist, he earned his doctorate in philosophy from University of Silesia in Katowice and spent many years teaching and researching philosophy of nature at the university level. His scholarly interests focus on organic, processual, and relational metaphysics, and their implications for contemporary understandings of science, ecology, and human development. Alongside his academic work, Dr. Ogrodnik has extensive experience in primary, secondary, and alternative education, as well as in teacher training and educational program development. He co-founded the Living Education Workshop (Pracownia Edukacji Żywej) and integrates philosophical reflection with attachment theory and experiential learning in nature, contributing to innovative approaches to education grounded in relationality, developmental psychology, and ecological awareness.
