Budapest Centre for Long-Term Sustainability

The Budapest Centre for Long-Term Sustainability (BC4LS) is a simultaneous virtual and physical knowledge centre, whose principal objective is to reflect on one of the greatest challenges of our age, namely long-term sustainability, to position Budapest and Hungary in international cultural life, and to create and operate a global intellectual field of force. A key objective of the Centre is to initiate international dialogues on the issue of long-term sustainability, to organise professional events, research programmes and competitions, to operate platforms based on the sharing of good practices, to prepare publications, and to promote excellent research and professional activities.
