Patrick Ioakimedes

Patrick Ioakimedes is a musician, writer, activist, and educator. He double majored in philosophy and religious studies at CSUN and completed his MDiv and MA from CST. His MA thesis focused on the mind-body problem and the principle of unity through a historical excavation of the relationship between science and religion. He currently teaches history in the LAUSD public school system. In the call for justice he has been involved with groups including the Poor People’s Campaign, Reform LA Jails, Justice LA, and LA Voice. In the midst of these endeavors, Patrick is continually drawn to music as a source of purpose and hope, with expressive aims for justice, creativity, playfulness, and honesty in the face of the multiple crises which haunt and spur our evolutionary becoming forward. As an artist, he composes and records music and produces music videos under the name PSi the Musician. You can find this project on YouTube, Bandcamp, and Instagram.
