Ronan Hallowell, EdD, MA is an assistant professor of clinical medical education at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He is Director of the Health Justice and Systems of Care required longitudinal course in the MD program and a founding faculty member in the Narrative Medicine MS degree program at Keck. Dr. Hallowell is the Keck PI for the AMA ChangeMedEd grant “Assessing Health Systems Science in Clinical Environments.” He also serves on the advisory board for the Social Mission Alliance at George Washington University’s Mullan Institute for Health Workforce Diversity and is a member of the Founding Academic Council of UCLA’s Project ReConnect: Ecological Medicine and Psychedelic Studies Initiative. He conducts research on curriculum design, health justice education, ecological and psychedelic medicine, the medical humanities, and cross-cultural perspectives on medicine.
