Join us Sunday, August 23rd at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen for Frontiers of Knowledge, a mind-expanding day of conversation with world-renowned scientists, philosophers, and authors.
In 2026, our leading-edge speaker series reawakens the understanding that consciousness has many forms and occurs throughout the living world. We will explore how human consciousness developed in deep interaction with the natural world, walk through changing perceptions of animal experience, and consider how our newest intelligence, a human creation, is ours to direct and nurture.
How might we think about life in this expanded universe? What does it mean to be human in the cosmos at this time?
