Erin Hawkins is the Executive Director of Connectional Ministries for the California Pacific Annual Conference. In this role she serves as steward of the organization’s vision and mission, leads a continuous process of organizational transformation and renewal, and ensures alignment of resources with the vision, nurturing strong connections throughout the organization’s ecosystem. Prior to that she served as the General Secretary of the General Commission on Religion and Race of The United Methodist Church since 2007, an agency charged with leading the denomination’s efforts to be fully inclusive and challenging institutional racism within its ranks. Mrs. Hawkins earned a Master of Science in Organizational Development from American University (Washington DC), a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside (Riverside, CA) and is doctoral candidate at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She lives in Los Angeles, with her husband Patrick
