We are excited to share three calls for paper proposals for the American Philosophical Association Pacific Division meeting the spring of 2025!
If you are interested in participating in one of the following three sessions at the American Philosophical Association Pacific Division conference at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, CA from Wednesday, April 16th – Saturday, April 19th, please send an email to Olav Bryant Smith at olav320@gmail.com.
Please include a paper title and a brief description of what you’re proposing to present. The deadline for a proposal and commitment to attend is September 15, 2024.
Here are the three calls for papers which may be of interest to those working in process studies:
- Society for the Philosophy of Creativity: anything related to creativity
- Personalist Discussion Group: on any personalist, very broadly understood—not just Boston Personalists—any and all who resisted impersonalist philosophies; to me this includes everyone from Emerson to Hartshorne and those who have followed in the classical American tradition in resisting impersonalism
- Society for the Study of Process Philosophy: on any process philosopher from Heraclitus on; this would include James and Bergson and temporalists generally… very broadly considered
