Inspired by the process philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead and the intellectual traditions that have developed around it, Claremont International University approaches education as a creative, relational, and transformative endeavor. We bring together students, scholars, and practitioners across cultures and disciplines to explore how education can contribute to human flourishing, ecological well-being, and more just and sustainable forms of civilization. CIU is a California-based graduate education institution operating under the accreditation of the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).  The Center for Process Studies serves as a key academic partner in the development of CIU and its educational programs.
